Prerequisites for SnowPro Advanced Architect Certification exam

Candidates should have passed the Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification.
Should have 2+ years of hands-on/practical experience with Snowflake as an Architect role in a production environment is suggested.
The SnowPro Advanced Architect exam is best suited for Solution Architects, System Architects, Database Architects.
Practical experience with SQL and SQL Analytics, security and compliance requirements implementation, Complex ELT or ELT pipeline building, and various Data Modelling techniques.
Candidates having designing experience in DevOps/DataOps and coding experience outside of SQL will be a plus.

Accounts and Security: This section covers around 25% of the exam. It includes the designing of a Snowflake account and its database strategies, as per the business requirements, designing and configuring Snowflake parameters, data access and security, compliance, encryptions, user role, grants, network security, and more.
Snowflake Architecture: This section covers 30% of the exam. It includes limitations and benefits of different data models, data sharing solutions, data exchange, data lake, lifecycle support, object hierarchy, warehouses, backup and disaster recovery, and more.
Data Engineering: This section covers 25% of the exam objectives. It involves data loading and unloading solutions, ingestion of data, key tools like connectors, drivers, data transformation solutions, data processing, functions, streams and tasks, and more.
Performance Optimization: This section comprises 20% of the exam. It involves outlining of performance tools and best practices, query profiling, clustering, query rewriting, caching, troubleshooting of existing architecture’s performance issues, optimization techniques, duplication of data, and more.
